Connect it to Claude on the web (recommended)
The hosted connector uses OAuth, so you never paste an API key into Claude. Claude opens Insider Memes in your browser, you sign in, and it receives a scoped token for your account.
- 1Open claude.ai and go to Settings → Connectors.
- 2Choose Add custom connector.
- 3Name it Insider Memes.
- 4Paste the connector URL: https://mcp.insidermemes.com/mcp
- 5When Claude asks you to authenticate, continue to Insider Memes, log in and approve access.
- 6Start a new chat with the Insider Memes connector switched on.
You can revoke access at any time by disconnecting the connector in Claude. Your plan limits and credit balance still apply.
Connect Claude Desktop with an API key
For local MCP clients that do not support OAuth connectors yet. Reveal your key in profile settings, then add this block to claude_desktop_config.json and fully quit and reopen Claude.
